Sucuraj (It. San Giorgio) is a municipality in Croatia, on the eastern end of the island of Hvar.The municipalities are 3 villages (state 2006), which are: Bogomolje, Selce in oratory and Sucuraj.
Sucuraj is located on the eastern Point (Cape) Island of Hvar, 3 NM (5 km) away from the mainland, and 77 km from the town of Hvar.
To Sućuraj the easiest is by ferry from Drvenik on Makarska Riviera. Ferry vessel 25 minutes, the winter runs 3-4 times a day, and in summer 10-15 times daily. When you come from ferry you are already in Sucuraj, ferry port is very close to the town center. Drvenik is located along the Adriatic road, 96 km southeast of Split and 120 km northwest of Dubrovnik.
